Hello!

My name is Alea de Bengson and I have been in one artistic field or another for 17+ years. It’s made me into a very well-rounded individual with a passion for creating new things in surprising ways. I learn quickly with little prompting, have strong leadership skills, an over-achieving attention to detail, a fantastic and creative problem-solving ability, and work great on a team or solo.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me out exploring the wilderness with my dog or somehow stumbling upon more dogs in need of rescuing.

Senior Graphic Design and Marketing Specialist

Self-Employed | October 2018 – Present
Developed and implemented new design standards. Ensured visual identity standards and guidelines were met during production. Oversaw the daily graphic design content from concept to the finished product. Designed, and prepared materials for digital signs, web pages, email campaigns, social media campaigns, newsletters, flyers, brochures, animated holiday cards, annual reports, and press releases. Orchestrated creative initiatives from start to finish, guiding a cross-functional creative team in the conception, design, and execution of visual materials. Oversaw the work of photographers, illustrators, animators, production artists, and other creatives. Managed vendor relationships. Worked in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

Freelance Graphic Designer

Conceptualized, created, and executed high end graphics for small businesses and individuals. Designed websites, logos, business cards, posters, t-shirts, and packaging. Developed concepts for paid social media campaigns. Created post-production effects, motion graphics, motion tracking, keying, and video editing services using Adobe After Effects. Edited photos to fix issues with lighting, coloring, object placement, etc.
